Burke Thompson President - CEO
Burke Thompson co-founded the company based on his extensive experience in the international freight logistics business. While working with large semiconductor manufacturers, Mr. Thompson developed the CustomsPoint concept to speed the tariff classification process and to reduce the time spent on research and data entry while ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs law. Mr. Thompson has worked for large multinational companies such as Nippon Express, U.S.A. and Yusen Air & Sea Service U.S.A., Inc. He has developed and managed large import and export operations. In addition to his work, Mr. Thompson has served as President of the Transportation Professionals of Central Texas, a business organization consisting of international industry professionals. Mr. Thompson also served as co-chair of the Logistics and Distribution Industry Group at the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Thompson is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a minor in Business.
David Kirby Vice President
Mr. David Kirby joined CustomsPoint in August of 2003. He is a licensed U.S. Customs Broker with fourteen years of experience in corporate logistics. In January, 1998, Mr. Kirby was promoted by Tokyo Electron Texas, Inc. in Austin, Texas to head up its import-export operations, continuing his service to that company since February, 1995. Mr. Kirby is also currently an adjunct professor for Import-Export studies at Austin Community College. His prior business experience includes co-ownership of a Customs brokerage house and general management at other brokerage firms. He is a member of the Transportation Professionals of Central Texas. Mr. Kirby graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Oklahoma State University and a master of business administration from San Francisco State University.
K. Gus Vlahadamis General Counsel
Mr. K. Gus Vlahadamis has practiced law in the United States and the United Kingdom since 1992. He has served as a tax attorney at PricewaterhouseCoopers, L.L.P. in Houston, TX and at the law firm of Osborne, Lowe, Helman & Smith in Austin, TX. He was the previous dean of business at the American College in London and was also an adjunct professor of accounting and finance in the graduate management program at Boston University's London, England campus. Before attending law school, Mr. Vlahadamis was a senior financial analyst at the Occidental Petroleum Corporation and the Unisys Corporation. He graduated with a B.B.A. in accounting, finance, and quantitative analysis, a M.B.A. in finance with a minor in international business, and a Juris Doctor all from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
Patrick Doyle Manager – Applications/Development
Mr. Doyle joined CustomsPoint in April of 2000 to head up our applications core architecture and database development methodologies. Mr. Doyle has over 16 years experience in database management and programming. He is a former owner of a software development company and has worked for various companies such as Apple and Motorola.
Mitchell Kent - Director of Sales
Mr. Mitchell Kent joined CustomsPoint in August of 2004 to head up new business opportunities. Mr. Kent has over 15 years in a sales & management role in the IT industry. Mr. Kent not only heads up new business opportunities for CustomsPoint, but for CustomsPoint’s partner Webcore Technologies, Inc. Webcore Technologies is a full service ASP provider offering services in managed hosting, IT consulting, and web development. By combining the focus of these two firms Mr. Kent will not only be able to assist clients (and new business leads) with the CustomsPoint’s application, but also with the network management of CustomsPoint’s partner Webcore Technologies; thus allowing for one point of contact for the client. Prior to joining the CustomsPoint team Mr. Kent worked for several local ISP’s.

Programming Staff
CustomsPoint has assembled a programming staff of experienced and dedicated individuals with credentials with such industry leaders as Dell Computer Corporation, Motorola, Apple Computer and other Fortune 500 companies.

Advisory Board
The Company's by-laws provide for the constitution of a non-binding advisory board. The advisory board presently consists of Mr. William Renfro, a retired commercial banking chief executive officer and Chairman of the Board and past chief executive officer of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Renfro has over twenty-five years of business and managerial experience in the Central Texas business community.
